ABOUT SHAPING DESTINIES

Shaping Destinies was first known as Kings Shaping Destiny as part of the social unit of King Logisc Company. And they have received a group of students from HERITAGE UNIVERSITY from Yaounde under the mentorship of Prof Willibraod . These students studied project management and they carried their internship in KINGS LOGISTIC COMPANY and reporting on the orphans identification in and their nature of their vulnerability in KINGS SHAPING DESTINIES.

But in January 15th, 2024, it was changed to Shaping Desnies with it authentic document register n° 26/2024/DR/C19/SAAJP.

Shaping Desnies is a non-profit making organisation, none-governmental organisaon, and none-religious organisaon. It is an associaon or organisaon for orphans and disable person. It is also for these vulnerable. It has idenfied about 400 orphans within the country and they are register in the Shaping Desntinies System in the Head Office.

KNOWING ABOUT SHAPING DESTINIES

Shaping Destinies does not have a building confine wit orphans, but it operates on foster care approach. Meaning that, the organisation is taking care of orphans and disable person why they are living with their half parents or guardians. This is being done by the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Orphans Coordinator, Field Supervisor and Orphans Idenficaon Agent.

Shaping Destinies assist the orphans and the disable persons in Cameroon. The orphans are from 0-21 years. The orphans are being assisted by the organisation to give them the sense of belonging to the society since they are not call for to be orphans or disable.

OBJECTIVE OF SHAPING DESTINIES

ACTIVITIES SHAPING DESTINIES

  • To support the sustainable devel-opment goals SDs) of eradicang ex-treme poverty, hunger, and illiteracy among orphans and disable persons.

  • To promote and protect civil and polical rights and economics, social and cultural right of orphans and disable.

  • To eradicate obnoxious harmful tradional pracces affecting women, the girl child and children in general, when parents are no more.

  • To re-insert street children’s, traffic children and order vulnerable and disadvantage groups. We also advocate for policy change.

  • To also advocate for orphan’s boys and girls who are been raped during their professional and academic internship. 6. To fight against unemployment by promong self-reliant activities.

  • Every end of the year, there is a general meeng with all the founding members. A general assembly is schedule for the beginning of the year by the Founding President to communicate the acvies of the year.

  • Every beginning of the year, the general as- sembly meeng is summon with all the members and sponsors, partners, and also orphans who are register in the sponsorship program. Food items, clothes and others donaon are distributed to the orphans in this meeng. And other special donaon from partners. New orphans and disa- ble persons are being register into the program.

  • Every quarter of the year, the associaon or organisaon provide medical check-up for all the orphans and disable persons. Meaning there is a door to door follow up by the medical personnel of the organisaon. Food items, clothes, and oth- ers special donaon are also given to the orphans during this exercise.

  • Every academic year September season, the associaon or organisaon provided 50% fees for every orphans and disable persons who is register in the sponsorship program of SD. This is done under the supervision of: · Program Coordinator · Fee Supervisor · Orphans Idenficaon Agent · And project management internship students. Fees are being paid by the Shaping Desnies Agent and receipt issue and photo of the orphans and the Agent is taken as proof of payment.

  • There is also idenficaon and authencaon campaign for orphans to be register into the sponsorship program. This is done in towns and villages and sll under the Super- vision of Program Coordinator, Field Supervisor, Idenfica- on Agent and order volunteers like Project Management Students on internship.

  • Shaping Desnies Sponsors Orphans in some Primary School and Colleges here in Douala. College to hope in Bepanda, Saint Sylvester College in Cite-Sic, Government High School Deido, and Government High School Souza.

  • Lastly, Shaping Desnies is creang 50 donaon boxes to be distributed in Supermarket, Events area, Ceremonial ground and Banks to raise fund for these orphans.

RESOURCES MOBILISATION

1) There is 5% of Kings logistics company monthly profit that is kept aside for orphans and disabled persons and is being invested into the program

2) There is 5% of the vision carrier salary that is been saved and invested into the program

3) There is also contribution and registration from members which is being in- vested into the program

4) There is also special donation from individuals who wants to support the pro- gram.

5) There is also special donation from churches and mosque for assistance of orphans and disabled persons.

6) Fabrication of Donations Boxes is ongoing to be placed in event Areas like super-markets.

7) Addressing of assistance letters to public and private Organizations.

8) Mobilisation of resources appealing to international Organization like U N, UNICEF, WHO, MINUSCA...

I am 14 years old, I am in form 4 in Saint Sylvester Collage in Cite Sic, a partial orphan, I came to know about Shaping Destinies about after the disappearance of my late father. 9 years ago, I am grateful to God for using Shap- ing Destinies to shape my live. I am 17 years old, I am in lowers sixth in College of Hope. I am so gratefully to the shaping destinies organisation for helping to assist me and my brother and sister since the disappearance of my father and the time we came to know about this organisation. ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

He has been the General Manager of ELISSAM Motor Sarl, since 2010 ll 20214, He also worked in SAPEM CAMEROON from 2015 ll 2019 as a Logisc Opera- on Manager. From here, he founded his own Com- pany King’s Logisc Company Ltd, and he is the Chief Execuve Officer (CEO). On the 22nd of June 2021, he was call upon by the Director of GICNASSER INTERNATIONAL SARLU as a Logisc Consultant. Finally, he was retained as the main logiscs and transport, and supply chain Manag- er. Presently, he is working in GICNASSER INTERNATION SARLU as a Logiscs and Transports Manager. He is also a Quality Management Expert from Internaonal Sure Consulng from Ivory Coast. Mr. KAI Kingsley, founded Shaping Desnies and all the Documentaon signed by the Senior Divisional Officer on the 15th January 2024. He is the Vision Career of Shaping Desnies Cameroon.
